We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Operational Efficiency Specialist.
The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving operational goals and targets assigned to Facilities Management, ensuring health, safety, and environmental performance. They will manage contractors and staff to deliver high-quality Facilities Services, meeting the operational requirements of our site.
- Achieve operational efficiency by reducing costs through effective resource utilization and internal/external partnerships.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with site management, internal stakeholders, and external partners to drive business outcomes.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Aurizon policies and meet statutory obligations.
- Assist in preparing annual FM site budgets and monitor financial performance to achieve budget targets.
About You:
- Minimum 2 years of corporate and/or industrial real estate facilities management experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience with technical corporate facilities planning and infrastructure.
- Hold a Trade Qualification in facilities or a related discipline (preferred).
- Proven success in managing maintenance contractors and collaborating with site management and stakeholders.
- Proficient in monitoring financial performance and achieving budget objectives.
