The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Imaging Physics and Artificial Intelligence within medical imaging. As a key member of our Department of Imaging and Radiation Sciences, you will play a vital role in teaching and research, driving advancements in biomedical imaging technologies.
About the Role
As a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in medical imaging physics, with a focus on specialties such as Ultrasound and CT. You will also lead innovative research in medical imaging and radiation sciences, leveraging big data and artificial intelligence to address complex challenges in medical imaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and supervise students in medical imaging physics and artificial intelligence
- Conduct research in medical imaging and radiation sciences, with a focus on big data and AI
- Develop and lead research projects, securing funding and publishing high-quality research
- Contribute to curriculum design and educational innovation
- Supervise PhD, honours, and postgraduate students
