Event Cleaning Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and reliable individual to join our team as an Event Cleaning Supervisor. This role will involve supervising a cleaning team to ensure all internal areas of the Centre are cleaned to a high standard.

  • Supervise the cleaning team to ensure all internal areas of the Centre are cleaned to a high standard, including but not limited to; Dressing Rooms, Corporate Suites, Main Arena, Auditorium, Theatre, Offices and Toilets.
  • Encourage staff to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout all areas in the buildings, at all times.
  • Coordinate with the Operations and Functions Team for cleaning requirements during set-up and breakdown of events and functions.
  • Ensure all equipment/chemical resources are handled as per safe operating procedures.
  • Ensure all storage areas are maintained in a tidy and safe condition.
  • Provide direction, leadership and support to Cleaning Staff.
Requirements:
  • Self-motivated, with a positive attitude.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Flexible in approach with the ability to assist others as required.
  • Proactive and 'solutions-focused'.
  • Experienced in Event Cleaning - for Major events and Venue cleaning.
  • Able to work to strict deadlines, with excellent problem solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven to have supervision experience including training of staff.

Good availability and flexibility over a 7-day roster, working days, nights and weekends is paramount.
