About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Daisy Hill. As an Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children aged 6 months to Kindergarten.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging educational programs that promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of children.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote the service within the local community and maintain a positive reputation for Catholic Early EdCare.
Requirements
  • Working towards or completed an Education-related qualification or ACECQA Equivalent.
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
  • Knowledge and understanding of the child care industry practices, including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
  • A passion for the education and care of children in a play-based learning environment.
  • Experience working with children with additional needs is highly regarded.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
