Experienced Diesel Fitter Wanted for Southeast QLD Mine Site

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fitter to join our team at a busy underground principal mining company in southeast Queensland. As a Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy machinery, including Sandvik boggers and jumbos, CAT boggers, Epiroc simbas and trucks, Jaycon and Getman.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery
- Work in a workshop and field environment, with 50% of time spent in the workshop and 50% on breakdowns working underground
- Collaborate with a team of experienced fitters to achieve maintenance goals
- Trade qualified Diesel Fitter (or equivalent experience)
- Recent mining experience (desirable but not essential)
- Diagnostic and breakdowns skills
- Ability to work well in a team and unsupervised
- Ability to work a FIFO roster from Brisbane or surrounding areas
- Strong safety values
- A competitive hourly rate of AU$65 - AU$75 per hour + super
- A 8:6/ 7:7 roster with attractive shift patterns
- A full camp set up with meals and accommodation supplied
- Long-term role with sick days and holidays
