Veterinarian - Sunshine Coast Healthcare Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinarian to join our team at RSPCA Qld. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care to animals in need, ensuring the welfare of each patient, and promoting the values of the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Veterinary Care: Deliver exceptional medical and surgical care to all animals presented to the clinic, maintaining accurate medical records and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Supervise and Train: Assist in supervising veterinary students, training animal rescue officers, and overseeing the use of S4 drugs in accordance with organizational accreditation standards.
- Participate in Research and Events: Participate in approved research projects as directed by the head scientist and attend RSPCA events, including community activation days and fundraising activities.
- Clinical Experience: A degree in veterinary science registerable in Queensland and minimum three years' general veterinary experience.
- Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and establish solutions for complex problems while collaborating as part of a team.
- Physical Demands: Ability to perform physical duties, including manual handling, and handle a minimum weight of 10 kilograms.
