As our ideal candidate, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of a comprehensive engagement strategy for the Quality Water for Wannon project. Your primary goal will be to develop and implement programs that foster community involvement and participation in this ambitious initiative.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and execute stakeholder engagement activities to ensure effective communication with local communities and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver education sessions, workshops, and other engagement activities.
- Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including water industry representatives, environmental groups, and community leaders.
- Design and implement evaluation processes to assess the effectiveness of engagement programs and initiatives.
- Tertiary qualifications in community engagement, community development, education, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing engagement strategies and programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working in the water industry or a related field is highly desirable.
