Job Opportunity: Fleet Replacement Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Replacement Coordinator to lead our team in coordinating the end-to-end design, construction and delivery of purpose-built fleet assets.

This is a full-time ongoing role located at NSW State Headquarters Wollongong. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and effective delivery of these assets to meet the needs of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • To coordinate the design, procurement and delivery of new fleet assets, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
  • To manage and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers and operations teams, as well as external suppliers and contractors.
  • To develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity in the fleet replacement process.
  • To provide guidance and support to junior staff members on fleet management procedures and policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background in project coordination, management and leadership, with experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • A good understanding of NSW Government Procurement, Supply and Fleet policy and practices.
