Position: Delivery Driver

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable delivery driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics and transportation, with excellent customer service skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering products to customers in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining accurate records and reporting any issues promptly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Picking orders among other warehouse functions in a cold store environment
  • Undertaking all duties in a safe, responsible, and courteous manner
  • Practicing safe and correct manual handling
  • Correctly presenting paperwork as per company procedures
  • Delivering products to customers as per invoice requirements
  • Obtaining and being responsible for payment from customers
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • M.R./H.R. Truck licence
  • High reach forklift experience
  • Previous warehousing and transport experience (preferably in the food service industry)
  • A strong understanding of O.H.S. and H.A.C.C.P. requirements
  • Multi-drop experience
  • Previous freezer/chilled experience
  • Customer-focused skills and the ability to build interpersonal relationships
  • Sound literacy skills and basic PC knowledge
  • A highly motivated work ethic and positive attitude
  • The ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously
  • Accurate attention to detail
