The role is to deliver music education in a supportive environment, focusing on recording and digital production. You will teach students aged 15–18 in small classes with strong wellbeing initiatives.
As a music educator, you will be responsible for:
- Designing practical music programs that combine composition, recording, and production.
- Teaching students the use of industry-standard software and equipment for audio recording and editing.
- Developing skills in music technology, live sound, and digital production.
- Preparing students for assessments, performances, and VET competencies.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
- Current VIT registration.
- Experience teaching Secondary Music with a background/focus/interest in sound recording or music producing.
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years.
