Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-regarded team as a Senior Litigation Assistant. In this role, you will be working closely with a Partner to assist with mediation, arbitration, conciliation and litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience as a litigation legal secretary and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Preparation of legal documents and other correspondence
  • Maintaining legal files
  • Conducting legal research
  • Assisting with client enquiries
  • Managing lawyers' diaries
  • Management of meetings and conferences

You will be responsible for taking an active and autonomous role in assisting the Partner, demonstrating your ability to work autonomously and show initiative. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to delivering a high standard of legal services to clients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Demonstrated experience as a litigation legal secretary
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and show initiative
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong technical skills

This role offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
