Anton Murray Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Fund Accounting Team Leader to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our Asset Management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of fund accountants and providing daily oversight, client escalation, and client service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of up to 7 fund accountants, providing guidance, support, and performance reviews.
- Ensure all client deliverables are completed accurately and timely in accordance with SLAs.
- Act as an escalation point for daily issues and provide pragmatic and commercial solutions.
- Oversee the generation of accurate reporting, including unit pricing, fund accounting, and month-end reporting.
Requirements:
- 6+ years' experience in fund accounting, unit pricing, and custody, with a working technical knowledge of the full service model of master custody.
- Awareness of financial market securities and solid knowledge of fund products.
- Ability to provide effective management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in completing MIS and client reporting on a timely basis and in line with legislative requirements and organisational operational risk and compliance policies.
