Job Overview

The After Hours Coordinator is responsible for leading the nursing team to ensure safe, quality care during after-hours periods.

This position requires a highly motivated Registered Nurse with experience in After Hours Coordination or leadership roles to provide exceptional patient care and coordination services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient flow, admissions, and discharges ensuring efficient operations.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless transitions and maintain high-quality care standards.
  • Ensure staff receive adequate training and support to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Monitor Health Safety and Wellbeing processes and protocols to minimize risks.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with 8+ years of experience and current AHPRA registration.
  • Recent experience as an After Hours Coordinator or Nurse Unit Manager.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Leadership skills including mentorship and coaching of team members.
