Job Overview

The Department of Communities brings together services and functions of disability, child protection, family support, housing, community initiatives, and regional services reform.

As a Transformation Expert, you will lead transformation planning, collaborate with project leads and stakeholders, self-manage work within projects, establish connections with related Communities' transformation projects, and interpret strategic program and project objectives.

You will provide guidance and direction to key project and business stakeholders as appropriate. The role involves driving change management initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Leading transformation planning and execution
  • Collaborating with project leads and stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Self-managing work within projects to meet deadlines and deliverables
  • Establishing connections with related Communities' transformation projects to leverage best practices and expertise
  • Interpreting strategic program and project objectives to inform transformation planning and execution
