Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing leadership and management of the designated area of specialty, working closely with the Nursing Unit Manager to achieve this.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and leadership, with experience in managing teams and developing policies and procedures.

They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership to patients and nursing staff within the area of specialty
  • Deliver clinical nursing services at an advanced level, promoting and establishing evidenced-based therapeutic interventions
  • Coordinate the continuum of care across the patient's journey
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant state/territory health authority
  • Postgraduate degree in nursing or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior nursing role, including experience in managing teams and developing policies and procedures
