Occupational Therapist - Research and Quality Improvement Leader

This is a unique opportunity to drive research and quality improvement across occupational therapy.

  • As a leading Occupational Therapist, you will provide clinical leadership and drive a culture of curiosity, quality improvement and research.

The classification for this position will range from Grade 4 Year 1 to Grade 4 Year 4.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitating others in the delivery of evidence based occupational therapy and translation of research into clinical practice.
  • Delivery of quality improvement and research initiatives.
  • Generating research outputs, including grant funding applications, conference presentations and publications.
  • Strong collaborations with occupational therapists, patients and families, other staff and external stakeholders.

About You

  • Clinical expertise specific to infants, children, and adolescents and / or the tertiary hospital setting.
  • Ability to analyse, critique and synthesise data from sources to inform the development and implementation of a research strategy for Occupational Therapy Services, and specific clinical research questions.
  • Highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate and negotiate with multiple stakeholders in a professional, efficient, and sustainable manner.
