Job Description:We are seeking a highly experienced and responsible career nanny to care for our two children in their home in South Yarra. The ideal candidate will be engaging, fun to be around, but also nurturing, calm, and patient.The successful candidate will be responsible for caring for our 3-year-old daughter from 6:00AM to 4:00PM each day, and also caring for our 6-month-old son for a few hours each morning until his nanny arrives at 8am. The family would like help with laundry, meal prep, errands, and light housework as needed during the days when the eldest child is at school. During the school holidays, the nanny will care for the 3-year-old full-time.Required Skills and Qualifications:We are looking for a nanny who has a minimum of 5+ years experience in childcare or as a nanny, a current first aid certificate, a current Working with Children's Check, strong communication skills, and the ability to speak English fluently. We also value a nanny who can structure their day, be independent, design new routines, and provide fun, creative, and stimulating indoor and outdoor activities that will assist in the child's development.Benefits:This is a long-term position preferred, with a flexible schedule that allows for occasional evenings, weekends, or overnights.
