Senior Project Lead

This role is ideal for professionals who want to leverage their skills in project management, leadership, and collaboration. You will work on multidisciplinary projects, mentoring and guiding team members while developing your expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of projects, ensuring strong commercial discipline and delivering high-quality work.
  • Contribute to day-to-day project management duties, including design and construction projects, and providing advisory services to clients.
  • Prepare and maintain project plans, resourcing profiles, schedules, financial controls, deliverable registers, risk registers, and reports.
  • Attend and contribute to project/client meetings, documenting and monitoring actions, risks, and issues. Assist with or lead the preparation and coordination of deliverables, such as business cases, feasibility studies, risk assessments, reports, approvals, and procurement documentation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to expand business opportunities for the Advisory Services team and other groups within Arup.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in project management or a delivery role in the consulting sector.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, project management, the built environment, business, or similar.
  • Eligible for professional membership of the Australian Institute of Project Management, Project Management Institute, or similar.
  • Extensive experience in engineering consulting within the transport infrastructure, energy, water, and/or data centers.
