**About the Role**

A midwifery professional is sought after to join our maternity services team at Wollongong Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering full-scope midwifery practice across various care settings.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safe, person-centred care and be able to work in a rotational capacity across the Birthing Unit, Postnatal Ward, and Midwifery in the Home (MITH).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver midwifery care to women and newborns in a variety of settings
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical excellence and equity

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
  • An eligible Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
