Job Opportunity for a Reliable and Experienced NannyWe are seeking a skilled and proactive nanny to care for two young boys in a busy family home in Chelmer, Queensland. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a nanny or working in childcare and hold current qualifications including a First Aid Certificate and Working With Children's Check.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality care and education to the children, supporting their routines and boundaries while respecting their individual needs and interests. Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing primary care and support for the youngest child (1 year old) and occasional care for the eldest child (3.5 years old)
  • Developing and implementing engaging morning activities and play both indoors and outdoors
  • Supporting a calm and respectful routine aligned with Montessori principles
  • Preparing light meals and snacks for the children and assisting with household duties such as tidying play areas and loading the dishwasher
  • Communicating effectively with the family to ensure seamless care and support
Requirements for the role include:
  • At least 5 years of experience as a nanny or working in childcare
  • Current First Aid Certificate and Working With Children's Check
  • Montessori experience or interest highly regarded
  • Reliable, punctual and communicative
