About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team in the Wide Bay Region. As a Home Care Worker with KinCare, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our aged customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure our customers' homes are safe and comfortable.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating and independence.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay connected and engaged.
  • Deliver personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as medication management and mobility assistance.
  • Provide respite and emotional support to our customers, helping them cope with the challenges of aging.
  • Transport customers to appointments and provide complex care for those with high needs, such as dementia.
About You
  • You possess a Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support, Disability, or Nursing, and have at least 6 months of experience in a similar role.
  • You have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, with the ability to travel to customer locations.
  • You are a caring and empathetic individual who understands the importance of assisting our aged community to live independently at home for longer.
  • You are able to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for help from your Manager.
