Job Title: Drilling and Completions Professional

This high-impact technical position is ideal for a seasoned engineer looking to take ownership of well planning, design, and execution from inception through to completion.

  • Design and plan comprehensive drilling and completion programs based on geological and engineering data
  • Support the execution of drilling and workover activities, ensuring seamless project delivery
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance throughout operations
  • Monitor well performance and recommend optimization strategies to enhance efficiency
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and prepare contingency plans to mitigate potential issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives and drive results
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, as well as create post-activity reports to track progress
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline
  • 5-15 years' experience in drilling and/or completions within the oil & gas industry
  • Proven expertise in well design, casing, fluids, and well control
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic fracturing and advanced completion methods
  • Proficiency with industry software and engineering tools
  • Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Australian working rights and Professional Engineer (PE) certification
