About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate to join our Development, Construction, and Property practice at Montgomery Advisory. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with a highly regarded Partner, collaborating with clients throughout all phases of a project.

Our team works with a wide range of stakeholders, including private investors, financiers, developers, vendors, purchasers, landlords, tenants, builders, and subcontractors, both locally and internationally. You will gain exposure to a range of matters, including retail leases, commercial lease transactions, retirement village licences, loans, and leases, building development leases, and standard and custom lease agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and negotiation of building development leases
  • Conduct research and analysis on commercial lease transactions
  • Provide advice on retirement village licences, loans, and leases
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop effective solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements

Candidates should have between 2 to 6 years of post-admission experience in a reputable property practice. They should also demonstrate a high attention to detail, strong commercial acumen, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong interpersonal abilities to foster teamwork and deliver exceptional client service.
