We are seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join our team at Stantec Consulting International Ltd. as a Civil Design Specialist. The successful candidate will contribute to delivering innovative solutions in all facets of land, urban, and subdivision projects.

About the Role

  • Prepare conceptual and detailed designs using 12D (land subdivisions, road infrastructure, drainage, sewer & water systems, as well as associated infrastructure).
  • Interpret civil design requirements from government authorities and private sector clients.
  • Interface with associated disciplines such as planning, survey, traffic, electrical, and landscaping.
  • Interact with clients regarding project needs, ensuring expert and quality service is delivered.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams nationally.

About You

  • Demonstrated civil design/drafting experience within a consulting environment.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as an Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent demonstrated industry experience.
  • Demonstrated experience ideally using 12D or Civil 3D.
  • Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements.
  • A commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development.
