Heavy Vehicle Operator

A prominent materials supply company seeks a diligent and safety-conscious Heavy Vehicle Operator to join their team. The role requires driving a truck and quad dog or live bottom semi-trailer, as required, primarily working out of a central location.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the loading and delivery of raw materials to various sites within the metropolitan area, as well as ensuring vehicle upkeep and adherence to Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and delivering raw materials to internal and external sites
  • Maintaining safety, health & environment standards
  • Complying with CoR, fatigue management and mass management requirements
  • Completing basic documentation
  • Maintaining professional customer relationships
  • Ensuring vehicle cleanliness and tidiness

Requirements:

  • Current HC drivers license and ability to provide driver licence history check - essential
  • Professional approach to heavy vehicle operation with thorough knowledge and understanding of CoR requirements
  • Reliable team player attitude with focus on customer service
  • Strong work ethic and sense of integrity to allow independent work
  • Previous tipper experience advantageous but not required
  • Relevant building/concrete industry experience advantageous but not required
