Job Overview

The Electric and Instrumentation Technician plays a pivotal role in the development of an electric spodumene calciner at our Pilbara Region project site. This cutting-edge initiative involves collaboration between Pilbara Minerals and Calix Limited to construct and operate a demonstration-scale plant. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team working on a 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster with FIFO arrangements from nearby capital cities.

About the Role

This is a six-month opportunity for skilled professionals to contribute their expertise in electrical instrumentation, ensuring seamless operations throughout the project duration. We encourage applications from individuals with experience in construction or mining sectors, as we believe their skills will be invaluable to the success of this project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the commissioning and operation of the electric spodumene calciner
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and safe plant operations
  • Maintain and repair electrical and instrumental equipment as required
  • Participate in training and development activities to enhance technical skills
Requirements
  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
  • Certificate III or IV in Electrical Instrumentation
  • WA Electrical Licence
  • Low Voltage & CPR Certificate (Within 1 Year)
  • High Risk Work License - WP (current)
  • Working at Heights (Within 2 Years)
  • Construction Card
  • Valid Driver's Licence
