About the Role

Key responsibilities for this position include maintaining a high standard of catering, presentation and food safety. We are seeking an experienced hospitality assistant to join our team as a Support Worker - Catering.

  • Assist with food preparation, storage, hygiene, distribution and serving of meals.
  • Follow written protocols for special dietary requests.
  • Support in the maintenance of efficient service standards in dining rooms.

Additionally, successful applicants will have excellent customer service skills, effective time management skills and a friendly personality.

About You
  • Previous experience in basic food preparation is essential, along with understanding of resident's requirements living with dementia.
  • Ability to maintain open communication and collaborate effectively with other team members.
  • Broad knowledge of Aged Care standards.
