Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Become a key player in maintaining the world's largest aircraft fleet, ensuring the highest standards of environmental health and safety are met at all times.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team, working closely with cross-functional groups to provide expert guidance and support across various business areas. Your hazardous chemical and occupational hygiene skills will be put to good use, as you work towards embedding a positive safety culture throughout our operations.

As part of our diverse, highly connected, and talented EHS team, you will be accountable for assisting to maintain our aircraft-related hazardous chemicals register, supporting our EHS Management System, and delivering EHS guidance and support to a range of stakeholders.

We are seeking an experienced professional with formal qualifications in Work Health and Safety, occupational hygiene or science, along with a sound understanding of relevant legislation and risk management principles. A minimum of three years' experience in a similar role, preferably with experience managing hazardous chemical registers, is also required.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of aircraft-related hazardous chemicals
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on EHS matters
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of our EHS Management System

Requirements:

  • Formal qualifications in Work Health and Safety, occupational hygiene or science
  • A sound understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation
  • A sound understanding of risk management
  • Three years' experience in a similar role, ideally with experience managing hazardous chemical registers
