Job Description

This role is for a skilled full-stack developer who can create new apps and enhance the functionality of existing software as part of a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of full-stack web development, including proficiency in Python, Django, and SQL relational databases. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Unix/Linux, Agile, and DevOps methodologies is also essential.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the software development team to deliver high-quality software on time
  • Identifying and resolving software defects, providing excellent customer service
  • Participating in code review processes to ensure best practices are followed
  • Performing functional testing on development and staging environments

You will also require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science (or similar field)
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong organisational skills, including effective time management and solid problem-solving abilities
Required Skills

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Python, Django
  • Experience using SQL relational databases, PostgreSQL preferred
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Unix/Linux
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
