About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Experience Designer to join our team at AKQA Media. As a Senior Experience Designer, you will be responsible for leading experience design projects from start to finish, ensuring their successful execution and delivery of beautiful, usable, and valuable digital products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Partner with cross-discipline teams to deliver end-to-end projects through discovery, definition, solution, and build phases.
  • Design Decision Making: Inform design decisions with UX psychology and behavioral science to ensure digital products and services resonate deeply with customers.
  • Research and Analysis: Plan and lead the design research process to uncover human truths and solve for the end-user, always championing an evidence-based design approach.
  • Design Sprints: Facilitate cross-functional and hybrid teams through rapid design sprints using prototyping and mixed testing and analysis methods.
  • Design Systems: Define and scale intelligent design systems to meet the needs of businesses.
  • Process Improvement: Enhance all process and production artefacts through exceptional visual communication and compelling storytelling.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Act as an escalation point for the XD team; nurturing and guiding the project team and direct reports.
  • Thought Leadership: Show thought leadership in strategic design, service design, and all things user experience with clients and the industry at large.
