The role of Senior Test Manager is a critical position that requires an individual with a strong understanding of test methodologies and processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing the execution of testing activities, including preparing and reviewing test documentation, guiding and mentoring test analysts, and scheduling testing activities.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Software Testing Expertise: Strong experience in software testing across diverse systems, technologies, and large-scale, multi-vendor environments.
  • Methodology Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and the V-Model, with the ability to articulate their advantages, disadvantages, and application in testing.
  • Testing Techniques: Proficient in both functional and non-functional testing, with a clear understanding of black box vs. white box testing, SDLC, relational databases, virtualization, and data privacy/masking requirements.
  • Defect Tracking: Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools and conducting thorough test analysis using various documentation inputs.
  • Web and Web Service Testing: Skilled in web and web service testing approaches, with consideration for usability, performance, and compatibility.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills and consistently presents information clearly and concisely.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities, logical thinking, and time management skills.
  • Certifications and Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
