Position Summary
The role involves the operation of mobile plant machinery, specifically the Front-End Loader and Excavator, essential for managing product flow within our client's recycling operations.
Key Duties
- Manage stockpiles, including the removal of non-compliant materials and contaminants.
- Oversee the movement of vehicles for incoming and outgoing loads.
- Load outgoing bulk haulage vehicles with solid waste and glass products.
- Utilize the excavator to efficiently load and compact waste materials into transport vehicles.
Benefits
- Afternoon shifts available.
- Casual full-time hours with additional shift allowances and overtime potential.
- Work schedule includes weekdays with occasional weekend and public holiday shifts.
- Standard hours from 12:15 PM to 8:21 PM, with overtime as needed.
- Opportunities for long-term employment.
- Competitive pay rate of $47.81 per hour plus overtime.
Qualifications
- Valid Excavator License.
- Certification for Front-End Loader operation.
- Forklift License is preferred.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Attention to detail and reliability are essential.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Must pass a pre-employment medical examination, including drug and alcohol testing.
- National Police Clearance is required.
