Procurement Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Procurement Lead to spearhead strategic sourcing initiatives, drive process improvements, and foster collaborative relationships across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement effective sourcing strategies to maximize returns
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of comprehensive sourcing plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal partners to drive mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Conduct thorough spend analysis and industry research to inform procurement decisions
  • Mentor and train team members on best practices in procurement and strategic sourcing
  • Collaborate with IT and business leaders to develop and implement technology solutions that enhance procurement efficiency
  • Analyze and interpret data to optimize procurement processes, identify areas for improvement, and measure results

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or a related field
  • Proven track record of driving cost savings, improving process efficiency, and fostering stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and drive actionable insights
  • Familiarity with procurement software, tools, and technologies, including e-sourcing platforms and contract management systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
