We are seeking an experienced Child Development Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.

About the Role

This is a rewarding career opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood intervention and has expertise in child development. As a Child Development Specialist, you will work closely with families to identify and address developmental delays and disabilities, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Early Childhood or Education, as well as extensive knowledge of child development and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). You will be skilled in delivering individualized supports and coaching families on strategies to promote healthy development in their children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-informed interventions to support children's development, including assessments, observations, and goal-setting.
  • Collaborate with families to identify strengths and challenges, and develop personalized plans to meet their needs.
  • Provide coaching and training to families and caregivers on strategies to promote healthy development and inclusion in community settings.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and outcomes, using data to inform future planning and decision-making.
