Job Title

A Barista Trainer is required to provide training in a dynamic environment.

About the Role

This role involves providing barista training, collaborating with managers, maintaining accurate documentation and records, staying up-to-date with industry publications and trends, testing new equipment, conducting McCafe visits, and providing feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality barista training in line with the schedule.
  • Collaborate with managers to assess current training and equipment needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date training documentation and records.
  • Stay current with industry publications and trends to ensure coffee knowledge remains relevant.
  • Test and learn new industry equipment and provide clear feedback.
  • Conduct regular McCafe visits alongside consultants in restaurants.
  • Provide design and renovation feedback for McCafe locations.

Your Keys to Success

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Solid barista skills.
  • Experience working in a high-volume cafe.
  • In-depth understanding of the coffee industry.
  • The ability to travel when required.
  • Customer-centric approach.
  • Intermediate technology skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet goals and deliver business objectives.
