Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced candidate to join our team as 2iC to the CEO in a Business Management/General Manager style role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in term deposits and/or fixed income products, as well as broad operational and management expertise across client onboarding, AML, client services, and project management/co-ordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive efficiencies within the business and support planned growth initiatives.
  • Focus on general management and support, project management/co-ordination, and all-round office and business administration.
  • Responsibility for all operational interactions with banking and fixed income partners, system suppliers, and vendors (e.g., Bloomberg).
  • Evaluate systems and processes to ensure they operate to provide exemplary money market and fixed income services.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team and key stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Implement functional processes to enhance sales efficiency.
  • Coordinate the management of internal and external projects, including marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in creating and documenting strategy papers and roadmaps, as well as tracking and managing implementation.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified or significant industry experience.
  • Finance industry/banking/financial markets experience, particularly in term deposits or fixed income.
  • In-depth understanding of AML/CTF requirements.
  • Project management and co-ordination experience.
  • Team management skills.
  • Multitasking ability, with the capacity to adapt to a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • CRM (Salesforce) experience is desirable.
  • Adobe Acrobat experience is also desirable.
