About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Advantaged Care. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the total care of our residents, including the planning, assessment, evaluation, and delivery of care tailored to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that promote the independence and well-being of our residents.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify the needs of our residents and develop strategies to address them.
- Collaborate with the Care Manager and Facility Manager to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
- Provide education and support to residents and their families on health-related topics and care management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall care experience.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- 1-2 years of experience in Aged Care, preferably in a nursing home setting.
- Strong understanding of the 8 new quality standards in aged care.
- Passion for delivering high-quality care and improving resident outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good administration and documentation skills.
- Flexibility to cover shifts and a strong commitment to providing exceptional care.
