Academic Professional for Building Information Modelling and Management

CQUniversity is seeking a qualified Academic Casual to teach Building Information Modelling and Management related units in the Master of Construction Management.

Job DescriptionThe School of Engineering and Technology at CQUniversity is focused on engaged and innovative education to benefit students, industry and communities in regional areas and beyond. We undertake industry-focused research and consultancy work in several areas of significance for regional Queensland and the wider Australian community.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Excellent grounding in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Management theory and practice.
- Collaboration in BIM, knowledge of the application of BIM to the built environment, data and information management and digital twin.
- Competency using proprietary BIM software applications, for authoring, checking and planning.
- Capacity to develop units of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- A PhD or substantial industry experience with a postgraduate degree in a relevant area.
- Experience in teaching or conducting research in BIM-related areas (Desirable).
- Work experience within the built environment sector using BIM (Desirable).

SalaryThe estimated annual salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
