Maths Learning Role

We're seeking a Maths Learning Assistant to work with our product development team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys making things better, and has strong organisational skills.

The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and customer support, to ensure the quality of our maths learning products.

You will be responsible for assisting in conducting user research, testing product features, and coordinating agile processes.

A successful candidate should have a passion for maths education, excellent communication skills, and experience with task management tools like Jira or Trello.

Familiarity with digital products, LLM models, and data visualisation tools is also desirable.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Product Execution Support: Write detailed user stories, document edge cases and product requirements, and manage tickets throughout the development lifecycle.
    • QA & Testing: Test product features and changes before release, ensuring they meet specs and deliver great user experiences.
    • Bug Prioritisation: Track and triage bugs, helping to prioritise fixes and communicate impact.
    • User Research: Assist in conducting user interviews, surveys, and data analysis to uncover user needs and inform product decisions.
    • Documentation & Communication: Maintain clear documentation and updates that help the team stay aligned and move quickly.
    • Coordinating Agile Processes: Organise and run daily standup meetings, and help facilitate sprint ceremonies such as planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
    • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with engineering, design, and customer support to ensure product quality and a clear understanding of requirements.

  • You have experience working in a fast-paced environment, and you are proficient in using various software tools.
  • You are a strong communicator and problem solver, with excellent analytical skills.
