Classroom Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team at St Matthew's Primary School, Windsor, as part of Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese's system of 80 Catholic primary and secondary schools.

This is a temporary, full-time opportunity until the end of year 2025. As a Classroom Teacher, you will be responsible for collaborating with our teaching team to assist all students to achieve success.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of all students, particularly vulnerable students.
• Use targeted feedback and data to inform teaching and learning, creating differentiated teaching programs.
• Communicate and work collaboratively with colleagues to plan, prepare, deliver, and evaluate learning.
• Enable students to use information technology to enhance their learning.
• Deliver a child-centred approach to education, where students are actively engaged in the learning process.
• Contribute to the broader aspects of school life.

• A sound knowledge of and commitment to the Mission of the Catholic school and relevant Religious Education qualifications.
• A high standard of competency and proficiency as a teacher, with familiarity with best practices in developing literacy and numeracy skills.
• Knowledge of how to use technology to support teaching and learning.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning as a member of a professional learning community.
