We are seeking a skilled Rugby Union Data Analyst to join our team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Rugby Union and the ability to analyze data from various sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and maintain player and team databases, including implementing player ratings and validating player biographic information for our licensed Rugby Union teams from around the world.
- Work closely with the design and quality assurance teams to ensure that player ratings provide a consistent gameplay experience.
- Identify sources and methodology for obtaining player information and create accurate player ratings based on statistical and observed player performances.
- Keep data such as team line-ups up to date with real-world changes and implement data gathered into the game titles, utilising existing systems.
- Test and balance rating systems in collaboration with QA team to ensure implementation follows design.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of Rugby Union for our upcoming titles and updates.
- Keen eye for identifying player traits across a population and unique to individuals.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of sports video games.
- Qualifications in Sports Data Analytics, Sports Management or similar fields.
- Familiarity with our other sports titles, including Cricket, Rugby League, AFL and Tennis.
