Global Nuclear Safety Case Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Global Nuclear Safety Case Specialist. As part of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering global experience locally by developing relationships with technical teams and collaborating with diverse customers and stakeholders to deliver nuclear safety case programmes.
In this role, you will contribute to the development of complex project proposals and participate in securing new business opportunities or expanding the scope of existing projects. You will also lead and provide support for nuclear safety case programmes for defence platforms and infrastructure, ensuring alignment with stakeholder requirements and timeframes.
Your responsibilities will include conducting safety and hazard assessments on maritime/defence/platform systems, identifying and mitigating technical and project risks associated with nuclear safety case programmes, and supporting project managers in the execution of these programmes.
Requirements:- Experience working in the nuclear industry, including naval infrastructure and/or naval reactors, and Defence infrastructure.
- Tertiary engineering qualification, preferably in a relevant field such as nuclear engineering or a related discipline.
- A good understanding of the Australian government defence ecosystem, including knowledge of relevant policies and procedures.
- An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to write concisely and effectively.
