Job Summary
We are seeking a Psychiatrist to join our team at Villawood, NSW, providing Psychiatric services to a multicultural population as part of a multidisciplinary mental health service. The successful candidate will deliver Psychiatric services at the Immigration Detention Centre clinic, working with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic mental health care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Consultant Psychiatrist level mental health assessment and management
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic mental health care
- Supervise, train, and oversee staff working with mental health patients
- Provide recommendations regarding mental health care
- Make recommendations and provide reports
Requirements
- Specialist Psychiatrist qualification in country-of-origin equivalent to Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP)
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Minimum 2 years proven experience as a psychiatrist
- Preferably forensic experience
- Full working rights in Australia
