Job Title

The Housekeeping Supervisor will play a key role in managing the entire housekeeping operations for Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel. This position requires a hard-working, dedicated and experienced individual who can lead a team to deliver exceptional cleaning services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the property, including rooms, public and common areas.
  2. Develop and maintain productive relationships with housekeeping staff members, clients and contractor personnel.
  3. Support the housekeeping team to provide an excellent cleaning service that meets the needs of our guests.
  4. Oversee daily on-the-job training for all cleaning employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  5. Maintain accurate records of financial, maintenance and inventory data to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • A minimum of experience in managing or supervising a housekeeping team.
  • Experience in controlling and maintaining budgets, supplies, replacements and consumables.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
