We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Power Systems Expert.

The role will involve contributing to long-term planning and performance of the transmission network. This will include evaluating customer connection proposals, negotiating performance standards, developing and maintaining power system models, and supporting system capability and security analysis, operational planning, and equipment rating assessments.

Key Requirements
  • 3-5 years experience in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Eligibility for membership with Engineers Australia.
  • Strong understanding of transmission system reliability, substation components, and operational performance.
  • Experience with power system modelling tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD, PowerFactory, and PLEXOS.
