Speech Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team in Darwin, NT. As a Speech Pathologist with HealthcareLink, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and families, providing high-quality speech pathology services.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position, working 38 hours per week. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting clients to achieve their goals, working in a person/family-centered practice model. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, writing high-quality individualized assessment and program reports, and working collaboratively with families/caregivers to assess, plan, implement, and review targeted and meaningful developmental therapy.

- Work collaboratively with families/caregivers to assess, plan, implement, and review targeted and meaningful developmental therapy
- Select, develop, and tailor augmentative and alternative communication systems, programs, and resources for participants with communication needs based upon speech pathology assessments
- Maintain internal and external stakeholder communication
- Lead and contribute to the development of individual and group programs within the company service areas
- Attend and contribute to team and organizational meetings, including the provision of in-services and quality and service development activities
- Implement WHS, Risk Management, and Quality Assurance requirements
- Ensure billable Key Performance Indicators are met
- Undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in Speech Pathology
- Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia (or eligible for membership)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with a pediatric and/or adult caseload
- Demonstrated clinical competency and experience in conducting assessments and writing high-quality individualized assessment and program reports
- Strong commitment to supporting clients to achieve their goals, working in a person/family-centered practice model
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated by the ability to interact and negotiate with a wide range of people
- Experience working with clients and families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
- Current Ochre Card, Criminal History Check, First Aid Certificate, and NT Driver's Licence
