About This Role

We are seeking an expert Cybersecurity Professional to join our cybersecurity team. This is a mission-critical position where your expertise will directly contribute to protecting Australia's financial system from evolving cyber threats.

The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively hunting for potential threats and strengthening our security posture through proactive, risk-based, and intelligence-driven operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct threat hunting activities to identify and mitigate potential threats before they materialise.
  • Ensure readiness through regular tabletops, playbooks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead threat hunting activity, Incident response, and investigations end-to-end.

About You:

  • You possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • You have proven experience in cybersecurity analysis.
  • You possess knowledge of DevSecOps and Zero-trust methodologies.
  • You have experience with intrusion detection engineering, web application security.
  • You have experience with bug bounty programmes.
  • You have experience with Cloud-based Microsoft Security Products.
  • You have SIEM, UEBA, DLP, and related experience.
  • Australian Federal government experience is advantageous.
  • You hold practical certifications such as SOC-200, OSCP, HTB CTFS.
  • You have tertiary qualifications in cyber, analysis, or engineering disciplines.

To succeed in this role, you must be an Australian citizen with eligibility to gain an NV1 Security clearance.
