Compassionate Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate care assistant to join our team. As a carer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality person-first care to residents in line with their individual care plans.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on the lives of our residents. You will work closely with our team to ensure that each resident receives personalized care and support.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assisting with the delivery and administration of medication according to individual care plans.
  • Maintaining accurate health care documentation as required.
  • Encouraging all residents to participate in scheduled social activities and building relationships with our residents and their families.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent.
  • Previous aged care experience highly regarded but not mandatory.
  • The ability to work as part of a tight-knit team and take direction as required.
  • An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes.
