Educational Director

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Educational Leader/Responsible Person to join our team at Star of the Sea Outside School Hours Care in Torquay. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a fun and engaging program for school-aged children, while also contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a high-quality program for school-aged children, incorporating a range of activities and experiences that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Work collaboratively with the Service Coordinator and other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the service and the delivery of high-quality care and education.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the safety and well-being of children and staff.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care and education to children.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
- Minimum Diploma or studying towards a qualification in an area relevant to working with young people (highly desirable).
- Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate.
