Radiographer - Cardiac and Vascular Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiographer to join our team at St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside. As a Radiographer in our Cath Lab and hybrid operating theatre, you will have the opportunity to expand your clinical knowledge and skills by working with a wide variety of cardiac and vascular procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality imaging procedures using state-of-the-art equipment
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide excellent patient care
- Develop and maintain a high level of clinical knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
- AHPRA registration as a Radiographer
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Radiographer in an acute tertiary hospital
- Experience working within a Cardiac Catheter Lab or Angiography Suite is preferable
- General X-Ray skills and sub-specialty of either MRI or CT is desirable
- Working knowledge of regulations, legislations, and best practice
- Commitment to excellent patient-centered care
- Ability to work flexibly within the department and to provide effective leadership and education in the absence of a Senior Radiographer
- Intermediate computer literacy, in using a range of Microsoft Office programs and openness to extend learning into 3 D post-processing software
